The Best of Houston: Spas, Massage, Yoga, Padel and More (2026)

Houston is a big, car-first city, so the neighbourhood matters as much as the place. In these lists the massage studios, healthy cafes and yoga and Pilates studios cluster inside the 610 Loop in The Heights, Montrose, Rice Military and EaDo, while the padel clubs sit north of Downtown and out west, and several gyms, coworking spaces, dive shops and a cooking studio sit 20 to 35 km out in Cypress, Vintage Park, Katy, Stafford and Webster. Each list is compiled by Alex M. from public Google review records and the places' own sites; we have not visited them in person.

Frequently asked

Where should I stay in Houston for spas, yoga and gyms?

By these lists, The Heights and Rice Military put you near Patcha, Time Thai, Thai Wellness, Green Earth, Ginger Mule, Urban Fit Yoga, OAK Fitness, Carrie's and Club Pilates, while Montrose has Leemoo, Revival Pilates and Löyly Sauna Lounge close by. Both areas are inside the 610 Loop, a short drive from Downtown.

How do I get between places in Houston?

Mostly by car or rideshare. Iron City in Cypress, WorkLodge in Vintage Park, OTA in Katy, Cooking With A Twist in Stafford and Sport Divers in Webster are about 30 km or more from Downtown, and even inside the Loop the places are spread across several neighbourhoods.

What currency are the prices in?

US dollars, copied from each place's own site where it publishes them, for example $80 for Patcha's 60-minute signature massage or $599 for Maximum Scuba's all-inclusive Open Water course. Where a place publishes no price, the card says n/a.

Are these lists sponsored?

No. Every list is editorial and unpaid: places rated 4.4 or higher with at least 40 Google reviews, one branch per brand, ranked by a review-weighted score. Padel has four places because only four passed the rule. No place paid for its position.
