The Best of Tenerife: Top-5 Spas, Surf, Diving, Padel, Beach Clubs and More (2026)

These lists cover the whole island of Tenerife, not one town, in eleven categories: spas, massage, yoga, gyms, pilates, coworking, surf, diving, healthy cafes, padel and beach clubs. Recovery and cooking classes did not reach five places that meet our rule of a Google rating of 4.4 or higher with at least 40 reviews, so we left them out. Massage, most spas, surf, diving, padel and the beach clubs cluster in the south around Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje, El Medano and Las Galletas, while pilates and most yoga studios are in the north, in Santa Cruz, La Laguna and Puerto de la Cruz, about an hour away by car. Every list is ranked by Google rating weighted by review count, with prices from each place's own website or marked n/a; we have not visited these places.

Where should I stay in Tenerife for these places?

It depends on what you came for. The south, around Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje, El Medano and Las Galletas, has all the surf schools, all five massage therapists, the padel clubs, the beach clubs and four of the five dive centres. The north, around Santa Cruz, La Laguna and Puerto de la Cruz, has all the pilates studios and most of the yoga picks.

How far apart are the north and south of Tenerife?

The southern resorts and the northern towns such as Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz are about an hour apart by car. If you want both a pilates class at VitalZen Pilates in Santa Cruz and a surf lesson in El Medano, plan on a car or pick one base.

Where are the beach clubs and padel courts in Tenerife?

All in the south. Kaluna Beach Club, Torviscas Beach Club and Tropico Beach Bar are around Costa Adeje and Playa de Torviscas, and Los Gigantes Beach Club is on the west coast. Indoor Chafiras Club De Padel and Camel Padel Indoor are near Las Chafiras, and Tenerife Padel Academy is in Costa Adeje.
