Best of the Gold Coast: Spas, Yoga, Surf, Cooking Classes and More (2026)

The Gold Coast has eleven lists: spas, massage, yoga, gyms, recovery, Pilates, coworking, surf, diving, healthy cafes and cooking classes. Cooking classes has four places, because only four met our rule of a Google rating of 4.4 or higher with at least 40 reviews; padel and beach clubs did not reach enough qualifying places, so we left them out. The city is a long strip of beach suburbs, from Main Beach and Surfers Paradise in the north through Broadbeach, Burleigh Heads and Palm Beach to Coolangatta on the New South Wales border, with business suburbs such as Southport, Bundall and Robina just inland. In these lists the spas run from Surfers Paradise to Coomera and Tamborine Mountain, the massage studios from Surfers Paradise to Southport, Arundel and Runaway Bay, the Pilates studios from Bundall and Southport to Burleigh and Palm Beach, the bathhouses spread from Runaway Bay to Coolangatta, and the surf schools line the whole coast. Each list is compiled from public Google review records and the places' own sites; we have not visited them in person.
