How we choose: we took the cooking classes Google Maps returned for our search within about 25 km of Weligama, kept those rated 4.4 or higher with at least 40 reviews and still open, one branch per brand, and ordered them by a review-weighted score. Most are family kitchens, and one is a homestay that also teaches cooking. Prices and details come from each venue's own website, checked in October 2026; we have not visited these places. No venue paid to be listed.
