⭐ rating n/aPetitengetEntry free, cover 200k IDR 4:00-6:30pmDaybed min 3-4m IDRWebsite live 18 Oct 2026

The one flagship in Seminyak you can still enter for nothing. The venue's own FAQ is unusually plain about it: a cover charge of 200,000 IDR applies from 4:00pm to 6:30pm and is redeemable against selected drinks, and outside that window entry is free with seating that carries no minimum spend. Daybeds are a different economy: first come, first served, and 2026 visitor reports put the smaller beach bed at a 3,000,000 minimum that includes two bottles of spirits and the larger at 4,000,000. Note the conflict worth knowing before you go: Honeycombers publishes the cover as 250,000 from 4:30pm to 7pm, the venue itself says 200,000 from 4:00pm, and we go with the venue. On site you also get Ijen, the zero-waste seafood kitchen with mains from 85,000++, and Kaum for Indonesian heritage cooking.

Free to walk in outside the late-afternoon cover window Cover charge is redeemable against drinks, not burned Sand, pool, architecture and two real restaurants in one place A daybed effectively starts at 3,000,000 IDR Daybeds cannot be reserved for groups, they go first come first served Sunset hour is genuinely crowded

Not for anyone after a daybed on a budget or a group reservation; 3,000,000 minimum, first come first served

The club that opened in 2000, invented the Bali beach club format and still owns the best strip of Seminyak sand. The pricing splits cleanly: the lounge and restaurant carry no minimum spend, so a couple can have lunch or sunset drinks at menu price, while the front-row daybeds are a commitment - Honeycombers lists the daybed booking at 2,000,000++ and Bali Traveller reports a 2,400,000 minimum, so budget somewhere in that band and confirm when you book. Open from 8am, which makes it one of the few beach clubs in the district that works for breakfast, and Saltlick upstairs handles dinner with dry-aged steak from 230,000++.

No minimum spend if you sit in the lounge or restaurant Open from 8am, so breakfast and lunch work here too Best beachfront position in central Seminyak Daybed minimum sits between 2,000,000 and 2,400,000, sources disagree Reviewers call the food safe rather than memorable Sunset queues at the front row are routine

Not for anyone who wants a settled minimum or memorable food; 2,000,000 to 2,400,000, and the food is called safe

⭐ rating n/aTaman Ganesha, PetitengetPool entry 150k IDR (towel included)10am-9pmWebsite live 18 Oct 2026

A saltwater pool club rather than a beach club, built around an 800 cubic metre salt pool with 1, 3 and 5 metre diving platforms, and it carries the clearest entry price in the district: the venue's own site puts pool club entry at 150,000 IDR per person including towel hire, while the sports bar and non-pool areas are free to enter. Worth knowing that 2026 guides still quote 100,000, so the number has risen and the official page is the one to trust. The crowd skews young, the 5 metre board is what people come back for, and the ocean is a walk away rather than in front of you.

Entry price published openly, towel included Free access if you only use the sports bar Bali's biggest salt pool, with 1, 3 and 5 metre diving platforms Not beachfront, there is no sea view Entry rose from 100,000 to 150,000, older guides are out of date Closes at 9pm, earlier than the beachfront clubs

Not for anyone who wants a sea view or a late night; no beachfront, closes at 9pm

⭐ rating n/aBatu Belig, north edgeBar counter from 150k · daybed 1.2-1.75m IDR12pm-10pmWebsite live 18 Oct 2026

The most transparent price table on this coast, and the reason it ranks this high. Mari publishes its minimums seat by seat: bar counter from 150,000 off-peak up to 250,000, bean bags 1,000,000 to 1,550,000, daybeds 1,200,000 to 1,750,000, VIP bungalows 4,800,000 to 6,500,000, with a printed note that the lowest rates only apply between 11am and 3:30pm and evening pricing is higher. That matters, because the "minimum spend from 150,000" you read on blogs is the bar counter, not a bed. Bamboo dome architecture, wooden swings, Mediterranean menu, and a small pool that children under seven are limited to.

Every seat category priced publicly, including the peak-hour uplift A real 150,000 option exists at the bar counter Architecture worth the trip even without a bed Batu Belig, the northern edge of Seminyak, not the Kayu Aya strip Daybeds are the second most expensive in this ten Opens only at noon

Not for anyone set on the Kayu Aya strip or a morning visit; it is in Batu Belig and opens at noon

The rainbow umbrellas everyone photographs, and the cheapest way to sit on Seminyak sand at sunset. It is a Spanish chiringuito rather than a club: bean bags directly on the beach, sangria and Spanish beach food, no pool and no gate. The venue does not publish a minimum spend, Bali Holiday Secrets reports 200,000 IDR for the bean bags, and in practice a couple of drinks clears it. Open until 11pm, which makes it one of the few places here that carries on after the sunset crowd leaves.

Lowest entry cost to a sunset seat on the sand No pool politics, no dress code, no gate Open late, 10am to 11pm Minimum spend not published by the venue, 200,000 is a third-party figure No pool and no shade beyond the umbrellas Bean bags on the front row go early

Not for anyone who wants a guaranteed minimum or a pool; the 200,000 comes from a third party, and shade is umbrellas only

⭐ rating n/aPetitenget BeachMin spend 150k IDR (reported)11am-11pmNo own website · listing checked 16 Oct 2026

The quiet one on Petitenget Beach, and the pick when you want the view without the volume. Reported minimum spend is 150,000 IDR, which is the lowest beachfront number in this ranking, and the room stays calm as the light goes rather than turning into a party. Two honest caveats from reviewers: drinks are described as under-strength and the bill runs high for what arrives, so treat it as a sunset table rather than a night out. There is no live official website, so book by phone or walk in.

Beachfront sunset at a 150,000 minimum Calm, date-night atmosphere rather than a DJ set Open until 11pm Reviewers report weak drinks for the price No working website, booking is by phone or in person Minimum spend is a third-party figure, confirm on arrival

Not for anyone after strong drinks or online booking; reviewers find the drinks weak, and there is no working website

⭐ rating n/aDouble Six · Hotel IndigoDaybed min 600k IDR7am-11pmWebsite live 18 Oct 2026

The calm end of the scale: a resort pool club inside Hotel Indigo with a Japanese-leaning kitchen, robata grill and wagyu gyoza, and a 600,000 IDR daybed minimum that sits between the bean-bag bars and the million-rupiah beds. Music stays soft and live rather than DJ-driven, which is exactly why some people book it and others find it flat. Opens at 7am, so it doubles as a breakfast and lunch spot on a long beach day.

Daybed minimum less than half the beachfront flagships Kitchen is a genuine reason to come, not an afterthought Longest hours in this ten, 7am to 11pm Reviewers call it underwhelming as a beach club No entertainment programme, quiet by design Hotel setting, so the crowd is guests plus walk-ins

Not for anyone who wants entertainment; quiet by design, called underwhelming

The Double Six party address, and free to walk into on an ordinary day - entry charges only appear for special events. The pool is the centre of the venue rather than the sea, which is the trade: on a quiet weekday it is a clean, elegant place to swim and eat with no gate fee, on an event night it is one of the loudest rooms in Seminyak. Because the sunset is not the selling point here, it stays usable in the middle of the day when the beachfront clubs are full.

Free entry outside event days Large pool, easy to find a lounger midweek Open until 11pm, close to Double Six nightlife Not on the sand, no sunset over the water from the pool Event nights carry a ticket price and a very different crowd Quiet and characterless on ordinary days

Not for anyone who wants sand or a sunset over water; it is a pool, and event nights change everything

A resort club on the Kayu Aya beachfront with a 350,000 IDR entry that is partially credited back against food and drinks, so the real cost of the day is lower than the headline. It is built for a calm afternoon and a sunset, and then it stops: the club closes at 7pm, which is early for Seminyak and the single biggest thing to know before booking. Service polish is the draw, not the party.

Entry fee is partly redeemable, not a pure gate charge Oceanfront infinity pool with resort service standards Adults keep it calm, no DJ programme Closes at 7pm, so you lose the after-sunset hours 350,000 is the highest plain entry price in this ten Reviewers note gaps in the small details for the price

Mrs Sippy's beachfront sister, and the answer for people who want direct Seminyak Beach access without a gate fee. Entry is free, a minimum spend applies only if you take a daybed, and the venue does not publish that number, so it stays "n/a" here rather than being invented. Lawn seating, simple grill and pizza menu, sunset as the whole point. Go for the view and the free entry, not for the kitchen.

Free entry with direct beach access Lawn and beach seating without a minimum spend Same operator as Mrs Sippy, so service is organised Daybed minimum not published anywhere, ask before you sit Simple menu, the food is not the reason to come Closes at 9pm

For businesses

Frequently asked

Do beach clubs in Seminyak charge an entry fee?

Most do not. Ku De Ta, Cocoon, La Plancha, Mano and Sunset Beach are free to walk into, and you pay menu prices. The exceptions are Mrs Sippy at 150,000 IDR for pool club entry including a towel, Infinity Beach Club at 350,000 partially credited against food and drinks, and Potato Head, which charges a 200,000 cover only between 4:00pm and 6:30pm and gives it back as drinks.

How much is a daybed in Seminyak?

Between 600,000 and 4,000,000 IDR as a minimum spend, depending on the club and the row. SugarSand is 600,000, Mari Beach Club publishes 1,200,000 to 1,750,000 for daybeds and 1,000,000 to 1,550,000 for bean bags, Ku De Ta sits between 2,000,000 and 2,400,000, and Potato Head's beach beds are reported at 3,000,000 for the smaller and 4,000,000 for the larger, with two bottles of spirits included. Bar counters and bean bags are far cheaper: Mari starts at 150,000 off-peak and La Plancha's bean bags are reported at 200,000.

Which Seminyak beach club is best with kids?

Potato Head has the most space, a shallow area and a dog and family friendly policy, and it is free to enter outside the late-afternoon cover window. Mari Beach Club takes families too but restricts children under seven to the small pool. Cocoon and Mrs Sippy are pool-first venues with a younger crowd, and Mrs Sippy's diving platforms are the opposite of toddler territory.

Potato Head or Ku De Ta?

Potato Head if you want the architecture, the bigger site and the option to sit for free outside 4:00pm to 6:30pm. Ku De Ta if you want the front row on the sand, breakfast from 8am and a restaurant with no minimum spend. On cost, Potato Head is cheaper to enter and more expensive to lie down: its beach beds start at 3,000,000 against Ku De Ta's 2,000,000 to 2,400,000.

Do I need to book a beach club in Seminyak?

For a daybed or bean bag at sunset, yes, especially Friday to Sunday. Mari, Mrs Sippy, SugarSand and Infinity take reservations for specific seat categories. Potato Head is the exception: its daybeds are first come, first served and cannot be reserved for groups, so arriving before 4pm is the only real strategy.

Is this beach club ranking sponsored?

No. No club can buy a place and we take no commission. Entry fees and minimum spends come from the venues' own sites and reservation tables where published, otherwise from named 2026 guides; where sources disagree, such as the Potato Head cover charge or the Ku De Ta daybed minimum, we show both numbers, and anything unpublished is marked "n/a" rather than invented.
